The first function facilitates bird identification by their songs. Users simply direct their mobile recording device towards the source of the bird song they wish to capture and press the record button. The recording lasts between 10 to 30 seconds before it concludes automatically, presenting users with relevant information alongside a photograph and audio of the identified bird. An internet connection is required for this feature.

The second function allows users to identify birds based on their physical characteristics. By inputting details such as size, plumage, or habitat, users can efficiently narrow down their search with just a few clicks. Similar to the song recognition feature, results are displayed automatically along with images and corresponding audio. Notably, this function does not require an internet connection.

The app supports three languages: English, German, and French, enhancing accessibility for a wider audience.
